After finding your ideal place to live, we will start negotiations with the landlord on your behalf, which will result in a solid rental agreement. It is standard procedure in The Netherlands that a landlord asks for proof of regular income and copies of identity papers before starting the negotiation. Initially, a tenant will be sent a checklist in which the main details concerning the rental are mentioned. This document needs to be signed and returned as soon as possible together with the following details (if applicable, this also applies to any co-residents):
Once you have reached an agreement with the landlord, we will arrange for a lease agreement to be drawn up between you and the landlord. This agreement is in Dutch, but an English translation is available. Within days we will make an appointment for the signing of the lease and the keys.
You should bear in mind that the handing over of the keys can take place after signing of the lease and if the following payments due are met:
After signing of the lease we take care of signing by the landlord. Within one week you will receive a copy signed by both parties.
For rental housing (both apartments and houses), at Jeco Real Estate you are at the right place.
